Partnerships

Yukon Middle School

Our partnership with Yukon Middle School began in the Fall of 2017. Yukon Middle School is located right next door to the farm, which makes for a convenient and opportune partnership.

Students from the school’s Science and Wildlife Education classes are frequent visitors and enjoy hands-on, outdoor learning opportunities with their teachers and staff here at the farm!

Boys and Girls Club of Oklahoma

Our partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of Oklahoma began in the Fall of 2017. Students with the organization come to the farm frequently throughout the year and enjoy learning about farm life, our bee population, and other wildlife on the farm!

Girl Scouts

Over the past several years, the farm has worked with the Girl Scouts to host a number of day camps, including NASA Camp and Twilight Camp.

Boy Scouts

The Mollie Spencer Farm has had a relationship with the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts for over 30 years.

Chisholm Trail Historical Preservation Society

Incorporated In 1990, the Chisholm Trail Historical Preservation Society’s mission is to preserve the history of and educate the public with respect to the history and times of the Chisholm Trail, and the events and lifestyles of the pioneers who traveled and lived along the path of the Trail. Many of these events are held at the Mollie Spencer Farm each year, such as Easter on the Prairie and the Chisholm Trail Festival.

At the 2010 Chisholm Trail Festival, the Society expanded their history research to include information on the Yukon area and various other trails that crossed Oklahoma beginning with the Spanish and French explorers, including maps and notes about the Louisiana Purchase. Consequently, 14 flags welcome visitors to the Festival annually and “PARKER STATION” stands as a reminder of the Chisholm Trail treasure in Yukon, Oklahoma.

United Scottish Clans of Oklahoma

The Mollie Spencer Farm is a proud supporter of the United Scottish Clans of Oklahoma (USCO), an organization made up of individuals who, Scottish or not, love Scottish culture and strive to share that love with others in the state of Oklahoma. USCO brings together those interested in Celtic music, athletics, dance, ancestral research, and much more to celebrate the unique heritage of Scotland. Throughout the year, the organization hosts a wide variety of events, including Burns Night, ceilidhs (kay-lee, Gaelic for party), and the Iron Thistle Scottish Festival held annually at the Mollie Spencer Farm each April.
